"Set a target board first."
Open the app, use the board picker to open the Poppy board you want, set it as the target, then retry.
A status tells you whether an action opened its destination, saved an item locally or needs your attention. Queue, Notion and media features depend on whether you have the full direct edition or the limited beta.
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Routed | SharetoBoard handed the capture to your selected board workflow. | Open Poppy and confirm the content appears where you expected. |
| Queued | An item is stored on your device, not yet confirmed at its destination. | Use the direct edition’s queue review controls. In the limited beta, older items stay on-device and have no delivery controls. |
| Needs setup | The app is missing something it needs, usually a target board or permission. | Open SharetoBoard and follow the prompt. The app should stop instead of guessing. |

Check microphone permission in Android Settings → Apps → SharetoBoard → Permissions. For TalktoBoard, also confirm your Poppy board is online and ready. For Native Capture, check the local Inbox after stopping.
Tap the widget once. If you see Set a target board first, follow the prompt. See Widgets.
The limited beta appears for supported text, link and selected-text actions. Other file types depend on your edition. On those paths, scroll to the end of the share sheet, tap More, then pin SharetoBoard.
Confirm the target board URL is the right Poppy board and that you are signed in to Poppy on the device.

The limited beta does not accept external media or files. In the direct edition, check the app’s format and size message. If the item cannot be used, share a link to the source instead.
Queue and Notion controls are not included in the limited beta. The full direct edition includes them, but Notion needs its own setup. Billing availability is separate; missing purchase controls do not mean your captures are lost.
Google sign-in is unsupported inside SharetoBoard Beta. Return to the Poppy sign-in screen and use email and password.
If your Poppy account is Google-only, use Poppy's supported password setup or recovery option if available, or create a dedicated beta account with a unique password.
Never send support your password, verification code, sign-in link, authorization code, cookie, or identity/session token.
