SharetoBoard"Set a target board first."
Open the app, go to Settings, pick or paste your Poppy board, then retry.
Troubleshooting
If something is not working, start here. Status meanings, common fixes, and what to include in a support email.
Status meanings
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Sent | Capture reached your target board. | Nothing. You are good. |
| Queued | Capture is saved on-device and waiting for delivery. | Reconnect, then approve from the app. |
| Needs setup | The app is missing something it needs (target board, permission, etc). | Open the app and follow the prompt. |
Common fixes
Recording does nothing
Check microphone permission in Android Settings → Apps → SharetoBoard → Permissions.
Widget will not record
Tap the widget once. If you see Set a target board first., follow the prompt. See Widgets.
Share menu missing SharetoBoard
Scroll to the end of the share sheet, tap More, then pin SharetoBoard.
Captures not appearing on board
Confirm the target board URL is the right Poppy board. Some boards require you to be signed in to Poppy on the device.
Privacy policy link does not open
Make sure you have a default browser set on Android. Direct URL: https://sharetoboard.com/privacy/
