SharetoBoard"Set a target board first."
Open the app, use the board picker to open the Poppy board you want, set it as the target, then retry.
Start with the status. It tells you where the problem is.
Current online actions report Routed or Needs setup. Queued can identify an item created by an earlier build, but the current beta does not add or deliver queue items.
Status meanings
| Status | What it means | What to do |

| Routed | SharetoBoard handed the capture to your selected board workflow. | Open Poppy and confirm the content appears where you expected. |
| Queued | An item from an earlier queue-enabled build remains frozen on-device. | Reconnecting will not deliver it. The current beta has no queue intake, approval, or delivery controls. |
| Needs setup | The app is missing something it needs, usually a target board or permission. | Open SharetoBoard and follow the prompt. The app should stop instead of guessing. |
Common fixes
Recording does nothing
Check microphone permission in Android Settings → Apps → SharetoBoard → Permissions. Also confirm your Poppy board is open and ready.
Widget will not record
Tap the widget once. If you see Set a target board first, follow the prompt. See Widgets.
Share menu missing SharetoBoard
SharetoBoard appears only for supported text, link, and selected-text actions. On those paths, scroll to the end of the share sheet, tap More, then pin SharetoBoard.
Captures not appearing on board
Confirm the target board URL is the right Poppy board and that you are signed in to Poppy on the device.
Privacy policy link does not open
Make sure Android has a default browser set. Direct URL: https://sharetoboard.com/privacy/
Image, video, PDF, or file share is declined
This is expected in the current beta. Image, video, PDF, and file sharing are unavailable. Share an online link to the source instead.
Queue, Notion, or billing controls are missing
This is expected in the current beta. Those features are paused, and older queue items remain frozen on-device.
Quick self-check
- Confirm the boardOpen Settings and make sure the target board is the one you actually want.
- Test a typed noteSend one short note while the target board is online.
- Test one supported share-menu itemShare one online URL or short text selection.
- Check the networkIf you were offline, reconnect and retry the supported capture. The current beta does not save the offline attempt.
Google sign-in does not continue
Google sign-in is unsupported inside SharetoBoard Beta. Return to the Poppy sign-in screen and use email and password.
If your Poppy account is Google-only, use Poppy's supported password setup or recovery option if available, or create a dedicated beta account with a unique password.
Never send support your password, verification code, sign-in link, authorization code, cookie, or identity/session token.
