SharetoBoard
Click to Post is now SharetoBoard for Chrome

Capture what matters on the web.
Move it to your Poppy board.

Highlight text, links, or mixed content, then choose SharetoBoard → Send to Board. SharetoBoard brings your configured Poppy board forward and pastes the exact selection there so Poppy can decide how to use it.

Pre-release status: Version 1.5.3 source is prepared for the next manual regression. Live Poppy compatibility testing and Chrome Web Store review are still required. There is no public Store install link yet.

Four focused browser actions

The free beta keeps setup and capture narrow. It needs only a valid Poppy board URL.

Send to Board

Highlight a sentence, URL, or mixed block. SharetoBoard copies the exact selection and performs one board-level paste. It does not classify the content or choose a node type.

Quick Note T

Bring Poppy forward, open a blank text node, and leave it focused for typing. Selected browser text is not inserted.

Quick Record R

Bring Poppy forward and invoke Poppy's existing recording shortcut. Poppy handles recording and transcription under its own policies.

Bring Poppy to Front

Return to the exact configured board. SharetoBoard prefers an open matching tab, reuses a Poppy tab when appropriate, or opens the board once.

How the free beta works

  1. Install the authorized beta build. Until Store review is complete, only use a build or test channel provided directly by SharetoBoard.
  2. Save your Poppy board URL. Open SharetoBoard settings and enter a valid https://app.getpoppy.ai/... board URL.
  3. Choose a browser action. Highlight useful content and use Send to Board, or start a fresh thought with Quick Note or Quick Record.
  4. Continue in Poppy. Poppy remains the visual workspace and decides how pasted content is interpreted.

Privacy in plain language

SharetoBoard acts only when you choose one of its menu commands. When you select Send to Board, the highlighted content is copied directly to your configured Poppy board. The free beta does not send highlighted content to SharetoBoard servers and does not create a persistent local outbox for that content. Your configured board URL is stored in Chrome extension sync storage and may be synchronized by Chrome according to your Chrome settings.

Chrome beta FAQ

Is Click to Post gone?

The browser extension is now publicly named SharetoBoard for Chrome. Compatibility IDs remain stable internally so the rebrand does not break existing behavior.

Do I need a SharetoBoard API key?

No. The free Chrome beta requires only your Poppy board URL.

Does SharetoBoard decide whether a selection is text or a URL?

No. It pastes the highlighted selection onto the board. Poppy decides how to interpret it.

Why is there no Store install button?

The extension still needs live Poppy regression testing, final packaging, Store assets, publisher setup, and Chrome Web Store review. The site will link to the official listing only after approval.
