Set up a focused chatbot inside Poppy, copy its exact https://chat.getpoppy.ai/g/... URL into SharetoBoard, and choose that Specialist from the right-click menu. Chrome opens it in the Side Panel while the source page stays visible.
Preview status: The Specialist Links implementation is merged in v1.7.0. Live packed-extension testing with Poppy private Google, private password, public, revoked-link, and iframe behavior remains required before public Chrome Web Store release.
The Specialist is a Poppy chatbot you configure.
You prepare the chatbot’s role, knowledge, instructions, conversation behavior, and access mode inside Poppy. Chrome Pro stores only the validated chatbot link and local display details needed to open it.
Private with password
Poppy collects and verifies the credential inside its own page. SharetoBoard does not receive or store it.
Public link
Supported with an explicit warning: anyone who obtains the link may be able to use the chatbot and consume its Poppy credits.

Choose your Specialist
Save exact Poppy chatbot URLs locally in Chrome and select one from the right-click Specialist menu.
Keep a working view
The Chrome Side Panel holds the chosen Poppy chatbot while the original webpage remains visible. Open full Poppy when you want a larger workspace.
Control the handoff
Selected text is session-only in Chrome. You click Copy and paste into Poppy; the extension does not fill or send a prompt automatically.
How to use Specialist Links
- Build a focused chatbot in Poppy. Choose its instructions, knowledge, conversation behavior, and private or public access mode inside Poppy.
- Copy the exact chatbot URL. Chrome Pro accepts only the expected
https://chat.getpoppy.ai/g/...URL shape. - Add it as a Specialist. Save a local name, optional icon/description, access classification, and the validated URL.
- Choose it from selected text. Highlight text, then use SharetoBoard → Ask a Poppy Specialist → [name].
- Review, copy, and paste. The selected text appears in the extension panel for the current browser session. You decide when to copy it into Poppy and submit.

Poppy
- Owns chatbot creation and configuration
- Performs sign-in and access control
- Controls conversations, history, retention, and recall
- Consumes and accounts for Poppy credits
- Controls revocation and availability of the chatbot URL
Never stored by SharetoBoard: Poppy API keys, Poppy passwords, session cookies, login tokens, or Poppy conversation content. Selected text is not sent to a SharetoBoard backend.
Chrome Pro is not Tentaclaw.

Web content ↔ Poppy Specialists through chatbot URLs you configure in Chrome. No MCP and no Poppy API key.
Tentaclaw
MCP-compatible agent → Tentaclaw MCP Server → Poppy API. It is a separate free technical project with its own release and security gates.
What still blocks public release
- Load and test the packed extension in a supported Chrome version
- Verify private Google, private password, public, and revoked Poppy chatbot modes
- Verify iframe behavior, fallback behavior, and relevant privacy settings
- Capture sanitized Store screenshots and evidence
- Complete Chrome Web Store dashboard submission and review
