What “free and local” means for Tentaclaw
Open-source release planned
The public package is planned to include the local runtime, four first-party skills, supported client setup, checksums, and security documentation after release testing is complete.
Separate Poppy costs still apply: Tentaclaw requires your own Poppy access and API key.
Poppy access and credits are separate
SharetoBoard and Tentaclaw do not include a Poppy membership, Poppy API access, chatbot credits, or provider usage. Poppy controls its authentication, plans, conversations, retention, credit accounting, and API availability.
Pricing after beta
Post-beta Android pricing, Chrome Pro pricing, and any cross-product bundle have not been announced. We will publish the terms before asking anyone to pay.
