What changed—and what it means for you.

Feature availability depends on the version and edition you receive. These notes explain the changes; they are not an installation link.

Updated September 6, 2026. Check your app’s version and edition when following a guide.

1.3 beta · Local capture and edition-specific sharing

  • Native Capture adds local notes, recordings, on-device transcription and an Inbox where included.
  • A locally saved capture stays separate from an online Poppy handoff. Check the destination after choosing to send.
  • The full direct edition includes supported media sharing, your own Notion integration connection, queue review before delivery and saving through available Android file providers.
  • The limited beta keeps external sharing to online text and links; Notion and queue delivery are not included there.
  • Use the installation instructions supplied with your invitation. No public Android download is offered on this page.

1.2 beta · Earlier versions

  • Quick Capture made Record and Note easier to reach from the app icon, widgets and Quick Settings.
  • Text and link sharing added a confirmation showing the content and target board before continuing.
  • Poppy sign-in in the embedded app uses email and password; Google-only sign-in is not supported there.
  • Some versions paused Notion and offline queue delivery. Older saved queue items remained on the original device rather than being sent to a different destination.
  • Media sharing was unavailable in those limited versions. Use your installed edition’s guide for current supported formats.

Earlier Android versions

  • Record/Note and favorite-board widgets added home-screen shortcuts.
  • TalktoBoard opened recording controls on the selected Poppy board.
  • Android share-menu actions made it easier to bring text and links into a board workflow.
  • Older queue and plan descriptions may not match your current edition. Check the relevant guide before relying on offline delivery.
