Copy the published share URL, not a board, editor or account URL. Every Boop saves one destination.

These are link-format examples, not live demo sites. The landing-page and presentation paths are Poppy’s documented formats, not a promise that every Poppy publishing route uses them. Choose Website for a public site on another host; Boop does not verify that Poppy created a custom-domain website.
Boop saves and shares the URL. It does not upload HTML, host a copy, connect a domain or change DNS. Publish the page with Poppy or your web host first.

Add a link once. Keep it close.
- Open Boop and select Set up my shelf on your first visit.
- Choose Add my first Boop or the + button.
- Select Chatbot for a supported public Poppy chatbot, or Website for a published page or presentation.
- Paste the public HTTPS URL and give it a name you will recognize. Campaign, description, badge letters and QR color are yours to customize.
- Select Save Boop. Your item appears on this device’s shelf; its QR stays hidden.
To change a name, link or type, select the item and choose Edit. Saving an edit hides the QR again. Existing chatbot entries stay in your shelf; you do not need to add them again.
Keep section links and public tracking tags
Website links retain public query parameters and page fragments. For example, https://example.com/yoga/?utm_source=qr&tag=a&tag=b#pricing keeps its campaign tag, both tag values and the pricing anchor. Boop uses the same saved destination when you open, copy, share or create a QR.
Only include information you are comfortable sharing with everyone who receives the link. Never put a password, API key, sign-in token or private invitation in a Boop.
You choose when a link leaves your shelf
Share it
Copy the link or use Share to choose a recipient in your device’s share menu. Show its QR on screen, or download a PNG or SVG QR card for print or a presentation.
Make it a kiosk
Start kiosk mode to put the chosen QR front and center. Choose a different saved Boop from the kiosk shelf when needed. Exit kiosk when you are finished displaying it.
Showing a QR, entering kiosk mode or sharing a downloaded QR deliberately exposes that destination to others. Hiding the QR afterwards does not revoke copies or screenshots. Access is still controlled by Poppy or the website’s provider; Boop cannot remove a sign-in requirement, grant access or turn a private page public.
Check a shared destination from a signed-out browser before putting its QR in public. If it asks for access, fix the page’s publishing settings with its provider—not in Boop.

Boop works in the browser and can be installed as a web app where your browser supports it. Open Boop and choose Install Boop for device-specific help.
- Android: open Boop in Chrome, then use the browser’s Install app or Add to Home screen option.
- Desktop Chrome or Edge: look for the install button in the address bar or the browser’s app menu.
- iPhone or iPad: open in Safari, choose Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Safari on Mac: use File → Add to Dock if available.
Installation is optional and does not add an account or synchronization. Use the same browser and profile to return to a saved shelf. Shelves in other browsers, profiles or devices are separate. Visiting a destination still requires whatever network access that website needs.
Your shelf stays here
Boop stores your shelf in browser storage on this device. It does not upload the catalog, seed live chatbots, list your links in a public directory or ask for a Poppy API key. A local shelf is not encrypted secret storage; someone using your browser profile may be able to see it.
Use Export backup before clearing site data, resetting your browser or changing profiles. The export contains your saved URLs and labels in a JSON file: keep it private unless you intend to share those links. The current app has no automatic sync or backup-import button; keep the export as a record and re-add links when moving to another shelf.
Deleting a Boop removes it from this browser’s shelf. It does not delete the original website, chatbot, downloaded exports or previously shared QR codes. Read Boop’s privacy details.
If a link will not save or open
Check the type and URL
A landing page, presentation or custom-domain site belongs under Website. Use a complete public https:// address. Files on your computer, localhost, private-network addresses, custom ports and known private Poppy board, API or account routes are not accepted.
Keep secrets out
Boop rejects recognized credential and secret-bearing URL patterns. These checks cannot prove a page safe or find every possible secret. If a link contains an access token or password, get a public publishing link instead.
Check with the website provider
Boop does not fetch a page to verify availability, ownership or safety, and it does not check where a hostname resolves. A saved link can still expire, redirect, ask for sign-in or stop working. Check the final address and use only destinations you trust.
Protect an unreadable shelf
If Boop reports that it cannot read saved data, do not clear browser storage first. Use Export saved data to preserve it, then contact support. Never send keys, sign-in links or other private material with your report.
