SharetoBoardSend to Board
Copies the complete highlighted selection and performs one board-level paste. SharetoBoard does not classify, summarize, rewrite, or press Enter.

Configure one Poppy board, capture an exact selection, and keep the free browser workflow local and user-invoked.
Setup
- Install the authorized test build. Do not use an unverified ZIP or copy from an unknown source.
- Open SharetoBoard settings. Enter the exact HTTPS URL for the Poppy board you intend to use.
- Save the board. No SharetoBoard API key, account, backend URL, Supabase setting, or Pro subscription is required.
- Run a harmless test. Highlight non-sensitive text on a normal webpage and choose SharetoBoard → Send to Board.
- Confirm the destination. Make sure the expected board receives the exact selection.
Free actions
Selection Bubble
Optional and off by default. When enabled, it asks for ordinary webpage access so a local logo can appear beside a selection. Content moves only after the logo is clicked.
Quick Note and Quick Record
Quick Note opens a blank text node. Quick Record invokes Poppy's recorder shortcut. Poppy handles audio and transcription.
Bring to Front and Split Window
Focus the configured board or place the source window left 65% and an extension-created Poppy popup right 35%. Closing the popup restores the source window.

The configured board URL is stored in Chrome settings and may be synced by Chrome according to the user's browser profile settings. Once content reaches Poppy, Poppy's account and data policies apply.
Troubleshooting
Board does not open
Re-open settings, confirm the URL is HTTPS and on the expected Poppy board host, save it again, and retry with a harmless selection.
Selection Bubble is absent
Confirm it is enabled, optional page access was granted, the page is not a restricted Chrome page or Poppy itself, and the selection is not in a password field.
Paste does not appear
Confirm the Poppy board is loaded and authenticated. Record the Chrome version, extension version, action, time, and visible error without sharing private content.
Split Window does not restore
Close only the extension-created popup, then report the source-window state and Chrome version. Existing normal Poppy tabs should remain untouched.
